Painting: If you are planning to paing the paneling in the mobile home make sure that you put a coat of Kilz on it first before painting it. This will prevent flaking and peeling of the paint. This is especially recommended in the kitchen areas where it is more likely that the walls may have a fine coat of grease on them.
Flooring: Kitchen and bathroom floors are normally lenoleum. If you are going to replace it certainly take up the old. Putting new lenoleum on top of old will make it too soft and it will cut, dent, and crease easily.
Exterior: Power wash the outside before painting. Make sure that you check what the exterior of your mobile home is made of. Sometimes manufacturers use plastic siding like materials and sometimes they are metal. Use the correct kind of paint for the material if you are planning to paint it.
Bathroom ceiling: Wash it well and coat with Kilz before painting.
If by plaster you mean drywall, then you should be using drywall anchors. You can then fire a 2-3" screw through the wall into the stud, which is probably what you are hitting. If you are not sure if you are hitting a stud, then don't try it. You may hit a conduit or water line.
THAT MADE ME LAUGH SO HARD!ESPECIALYY #8 THAT ONE KILLED ME!
Jetski time!!! =D
o o upside down!
If you like the location and having the extra property and basement storage then I would buy.
If you want to be almost sure of getting a home in perfect condition, then buy in the new sub. It is hard to pass up a brand new home especially if its made well.
If you haven't seen the inside of the new home, you should. Take a real hard look at construction and quality of cabinets, bathroom fixtures, flooring, etc.
Then take a long hard look at the 50 year old home and decide which would be a better resale in the future in case you are dissatisfied with the older homes limitations or the new homes location.
Whatever you decide, do it quickly. To qualify for the first time home buyers credit you have to have a signed deal with a seller by 4-30-10 and close on the deal by
6-30-10
Also, good deals go fast.
Good luck

It won't get you a much better offer, but people will be more likely to offer to buy the property if things all look nice and they can move right in. If you are doing a lease to own option, don't bother. If there is nothing wrong with the doors and they work fine and don't look like trash, leave those. I think I might replace the bathroom fixtures though, they tend to look worn out after a while and people don't like to see that. Those things may or may not make a difference. The biggest places to do any improvements or enhancements are the kitchen and bathrooms. Those are big deals, so concentrate on those.
I would say no to laminate in wet areas, even though some ranges offer guarantees for their flooring in moist conditions. Get Vinyl or tile for these areas, their more suitable. You can buy a vinyl with a wood replication, it even has the grain (making it slip resistant), This would be warmer, less slippery and alot cheaper. If you have a kitchen with a table and chairs I'd go with the ceramic tile though. Some chairs can rip the vinyl if dragged.
wat up bitch?? crazy ass bitch berries
In my personal opinion….
There's a few spelling mistakes that could be corrected. Also at the beginning, you say 12:00 PM, but it seems as if its midnight you're referring to. Midnight is AM, PM is noon. So you might wanna fix that so you won't confuse your readers. I thought it was good how you showed Nicole getting ready for school and described her clothes and what she looked like, making it easier for the reader to get an idea of what the protagonist may look like. I sort of grew bored though as she was getting ready by brushing her teeth and stuff. Don't get me wrong, its great to be descriptive but at the same time you don't wanna say everything the character is doing to prepare themselves because then you are telling a lot and its not really that important of the readers to know. Its a good idea to leave out unnesscary parts in a story.
For me, I used to have a bunch of little "extra things" in my writing that didn't have much to do with the current setting and what was supposed to happen. If the ex-best friend is going to make an appearence later on, then I guess you could leave that part in. But considering the fact that she didn't really make a real appearence so far maybe you should add that part later on in the scene where she does make an appearence, cuz right now it seemed a bit off topic to me.If you wanna leave it where it is thats cool, just change the second sentence about "she grimaced" to "her [or Nicole's] ex-best friend" or something. You used "she" in the sentence before and if you use it again in the grimaced sentence then it might confuse the reader with which character grimaced.
Lastly, I'm having trouble with the end where Nathan introduces himself. In real life I don't think a guy would be so quick to say his name like that. In my opinion I think you should make the situations a little more realistic. Play it through in your mind as if it were to happen in your life and ask yourself if the outcome of the situation from your story is likely to match what would happen in real life.
Do what you want though. This is your story and I'm totally just stating my opinion and being honest with you. This isn't meant to offend or criticisize your writing. It has potential but some changes to fix it and make it better should be considered.
That old dry wall must be removed completely. And replaced with green-board, which is a specially coated dry wall made specifically for wet areas like bathrooms. Its coating prevents mold and mildew from growing, and its regulation code in most states. You can probably demo the old drywall and hang the new green-board by yourselves, but finishing the new is a job left to pros. You must fill in all seams with joint compound, then top them with topping compound…….smooth and sand it. It's definitely a learned craft. I advise you to hire a professional for that part. Then you can paint or paper the finished wall to suit your decorating style.
Go to http://www.angieslist.com to find a reputable drywall finisher, if you don't have one in mind already. Angieslist is a website where people like you and me post reviews, recommendations, and warnings about professionals.
Best of luck to you.
